Windshield Camera Calibration

The forward-facing camera drives lane-keep assist, automatic emergency braking, traffic-sign recognition and adaptive cruise. We perform static target calibration in a level, measured bay and dynamic road calibration where the manufacturer requires it.

Radar Sensor Calibration

Front radar behind the grille or bumper must be aimed within fractions of a degree. After any bumper, grille, frame or ride-height work we re-aim and validate with OEM tooling and record the final values.

Blind Spot Monitor Alignment

Rear corner radar modules in the bumper cover are among the most commonly disturbed sensors in collision repair. We align, code and verify lane-change assist and rear cross-traffic alert.

360° Surround-View Camera Setup

Multi-camera systems need mat-based calibration so the stitched image matches reality. We correct distortion, alignment and park-assist overlays after mirror, door, tailgate or bumper repairs.

Why Your Car Needs ADAS Calibration After a Collision or Glass Replacement

Modern vehicles make split-second safety decisions using cameras, radar and ultrasonic sensors. Those sensors don't "find" the road on their own — they rely on a calibrated reference telling the computer exactly where each sensor points relative to the vehicle's centerline and ride height.

A collision moves that reference. So does replacing a windshield, a bumper cover, a grille, a mirror, a suspension component or even a set of tires with a different overall diameter. The damage doesn't have to be dramatic: a low-speed parking-lot impact is enough to shift a radar bracket a few millimeters, which translates to several feet of error at highway distance.

What Goes Wrong Without Calibration

  • Lane keeping assist steers toward the wrong lane boundary

Static vs. Dynamic Calibration

Static calibration happens in the shop: the vehicle sits on a level floor while precisely positioned targets are measured and placed at manufacturer- specified distances and heights. Dynamic calibration happens on the road, with the vehicle driven at specific speeds on clearly marked pavement while the system learns. Many late-model vehicles require both procedures, in a specific order, to complete successfully.
